Miner was moving cable when EE slipped and fell resulting in pain to wrist. Miner was taken to hospital for x-ray, resulting in no broken bones or obvious tissue damage. Miner notified mine management on 09/20/16 that EE could not return to EE's next scheduled shift due to the injury, therefore initiating the requirements of 30cfr part 50 to file a 7000-1 form.
RUNNING SLUSHER,CABLE GOT CAUGHT BETWEEN MOTOR AND CABLE DRUM.I.NAME ASKED FOR I.NAME HELP.TRIED TO FREE CABLE WITH SLUSHER CABLE GRABBED AND PULLED SLUSHER OFF PINNING I.NAME LEGS UNDERNEATH
WHILE SLUSHING EMPLOYEE WAS LIFTING AND TWISTING HE BENT DOWN AND NOTICED A SHARP PAIN IN HIS BACK. HE WAS UNABLE TO LIFT ANYTHING AND HIS WALKING WAS IMPAIRED.
