WHEN RIDING MANTRIP OUTSIDE FROM SECTION, THE MANTRIP WENT THROUGH SOME MUD AND SLID VERY LIGHTLY AGAINST COAL RIB. AT THE TIME OF ACCIDENT THERE WERE FOUR OCCUPANTS ON THE MANTRIP. ONE OCCUPA NT CLAIMS HE WAS INJURED WHEN HIT RAIL OF MANTRIP. EXTENT OF INJURY UNKNOWN.

PM 9/20/93, ARNOLD WAS SPLICING CABLE ON A SHUTTLE CAR AND THE CABLE CAUGHT HIS LEFT FOOT AND THREW HIM INTO THE AIR, WHEN HE LANDED, HE HEARD A "SNAP". HAD SOME PAIN BUT CONTINUED TO WORK. ON 10/29/93 THE MINE WAS MAKING A BELT MOVE AND ARNOLD WAS HANGING CABLE AND LIFTING CRIB BLOCK. AFTER THIS, HIS PAIN WORSENED.
