EE WAS SERVICING THE BACKHOE,AND WAS IN THE PROCESS OF ADDING HYDRAULIC FLUID, USING A 5 GALLON BUCKET. AS HE LIFTED THE BUCKET TO POUR FLUID INTO THE RESEVOIR, HE FELT PAIN.

WHEN LINE WAS PRESSUREIZED IT TWISTED IN HIS HAND, AS IT TWISTED A WAT ER CLAMP CAUGHT THUMB OF RIGHT HAND RESULTING IN A LACERATION OF APPROX. 1-1.5 INCH. FIRST-AID ADMINISTERED AT JOB SITE & SUTURES & MEDICATION ADMINISTERED AT HOSPITAL EMERGENCY ROOM.
