EMPLOYEE WAS GRINDING TEETH ON PINION GEAR OF SHREDDER WHEN GRINDING WHEEL JUMPED UP INTO THE WRIST AREA OF EMPLOYEE\S ARM. THE REASON IS UNCLEAR AS GRINDING WHEEL WAS NEW AND VIBRATING AS IF OUT OF BALANCE. WHEEL MUST HAVE HIT ANOTHER PART OF SHREDDER AND BOUNCED UP. THERE WERE 2 DEEP LACERATIONS. FIVE STITCHES WERE NEEDED TO CLOSE WOUNDS.
