HE REPORTED THAT HE EXPERI THE PAIN WHEN H9 LIFTED AND A TTEMPTED TO SWING THE BOX TO HIS LEFT TO GAIN ACCESS TO THE LOCK ON THE FRONT OF THE BOX

VICTIM AND A CO1WORKER WERE LOADING 72" WOODEN TIMBERS FROM THE MINE FLOOR INTO THE BUCKET OF A SCOOP.THE VICTIM HAD LOADED APPROX. 15 TIMBERS WHEN HE EXPERIENCED A SUDDEN PAIN IN HIS LOWER BA CK.THE HEIGHT A7 THE ACCIDENT SITE WAS APPROX. 6'.HE CONTINUED TO WORK AND FINISHED THE SHIFT.HE MISSED WORK DUE TO THIS OCCURRNENCE BEGINNING 8-28-87.
