AT APPROX 1100AM ON SAT JAN 21 1984 PETRIK WAS FATALLY INJURED WHEN A SET OF FOUR EMPTY 100 TON HOPPER CARS ROLLED DOWN AN INCLINE ON THE NORTH SPUR AT THE CAREY SALT MINE WHEN THE ICE MUD AND SNOW BUILD UP BETWEEN THE SHOES AND WHEELS MELTED THESE CARS STRUCK THREE FREE STANDING HOPPER CARS ON WHICH A BRAKE WAS SET DRIVING THEM FORWARD INTO ONE HOPPER CAR AND TWO BOX CARS WHICH WE
