VICTIM WAS PROC9SSING A LOAD OF COAL IN THE 2ND CUT OF A CUTBACK OFF #1 ENTRY WITH A JOY 14BU8 LOADING MACHINE WHEN A PORTION OF THE MINE ROOF FELL CRUSHING THE VICTIM. THE ACCIDENT OCCURED IN AN INTERSE7TION APP 200' INBY THE MINE SAND%@**%%* PORTAL. THE ROOF HAD BEEN SUPPORTED WHERE THE ROOF CONDITIONS WERE CHANGING FROM SANDSTONE TO SLATE.
