Security Guard fatality at No 1 Mine (Huff Creek Mining Inc), WV, December 7, 1991

AT APPROXIMATELY 2:00 PM THE EVENING SHIFT MAN FOUND THE OUTSIDE OFFICE WAS BURNT TO THE GROUND.EMP'S BODY WAS FOUND IN RUBBLE. BECAUSE OF THE BODY'S POSITION AND A HISTORY OF CARDIAC PROBLEMS AS WELL LACK OF MEDICATION FOR THE 3 DAYS PRIOR AS REPORTED BY DAUGHTER, THE QUESTION WAS RAISED AS TO THE POSSIBILITY THAT DEATH WAS CAUSED BY OTHER FACTORS THAN THE FIRE.
