Struck by falling object

While changing crusher hammers the EE was setting down used blow bars on the ground and unhooking them from the boom truck. While standing on the ground and waiting for the next blow bar to be lowered the previous bar fell over hitting the EE's left shin above ankle.See Attached. EE notified company on 10/21/13 to see WC Dr.

EE WAS DIGGING ROCK OUT FROM UNDER SCREEN PLANT. A ROCK FELL FROM THE PLANT AND HIT THE LOADER BUCKET AND BOUNCED AND HIT EE ON HIS RIGHT KNEE. CAUSED A BRUISE AND SPRAIN ON EE'S RIGHT KNEE.

WHILE DIGGING IN AN AREA WITH A LARGE""TOE"", A BOULDER FELL FROM ATOP THE TOE ONTO THE CORNER OF THE FEL BUCKET. THE FALL WAS NOT FROM A GREAT HEIGHT BUT THE SUDDENESS OF IT AND THE MASS OF THE BOULDER CAUSED THE FEL TO BE JARRED AND THE EE WAS JARRED ALONG WITH IT. THE EE HAD SOME PAIN AT FIRST BUT DID NOT MENTION IT UNTIL LATER IN THE DAY WHEN IT GOT WORSE.
