Laborer was in the process of filling a 100 gal. auxiliary fuel tank situated inside the mine's service truck. Unbeknown to him at the time, the truck's engine compartment caught on fire and spread immediately into the trucks mid section, causing what appeared to be a minor facial burn and smoke inhalation.
