EE was performing a routine blade change on Veneer Saw #1. The blade fell onto EE's left hand, causing a hand laceration, open fracture of phalanx of left index finger, and open fracture of phalanx of left middle finger.

Employee was unloading stone slabs with overhead crane when a slab fell over and pinned EE to the ground. Co-workers rushed over to lift slab allowing employee to move. Employee was carried to safety then transported by ambulance to hospital.
