Mechanic was using bolt and hammer to drive pin out of excavator boom cylinder. Pin came out causing mechanic's hand to slide against the boom, and EE hit left index finger with the hammer.

Used a come along and chain to pull shaft out of conveyor tail pulley. While cutting sleeve off shaft with torch, the chain heated and snapped hitting miners left hand. Diagnosed with pain in left hand. No fractures.

Miner was lowering a 2 inch hose from one level of the plant to another and felt a pop in his back. Minor lumbar strain. Doctor took him off work for one day.
