Removing planetary set from wheel housing, using hand to pull it backwards and free it, it slid sideways and caught finger between housing & gear group causing a laceration

Associate was helping with a repair on the dozer. He was standing on top of the pusher blade loosening a bolt to the lift cylinders. When the bolt loosened, associate lost his footing and fell. He hit his left side on the blade before he landed on the ground.
