Struck by falling object

When employee was cleaning the plugged chute a rock fell on his foot above the steel toe and bruised it. Doctor said to stay off it for a day and could return to work on Friday, 8/17/2012. There was no production at the plant so employee did not return until Monday, 8/20/2012.

EMPLOYEE STATES: LOADING HOLES WITH WET BAGS TO DRY THEM. SPLITTING TOP BAG WITH POCKET KNIFE AND THE KNIFE BLADE SLIPPED OUT OF THE BAG AND CUT THE BACK OF MY LEFT HAND.
