Over-exertion in pulling or pushing objects

While unwinding grease hose from hose reel, employee felt a burning sensation in his abdomen, thought he had just pulled a muscle, however the pain persisted. The following day he told his supervisor. The employee went to the doctor, who took him off work due to a possible hernia and was refered to a specialist.

Absorption of radiations, caustics, toxic and noxious substances

Employee was greasing WA 500 Komatsu Front-end lader, when the grease gun hose detached from the grease fitting and sprayed employees face and right eye. He recieved medical treatment the following day for swelling in his right eye, the doctor prescribed eye drops and was released to full duty on September 29, 2006.
