The miner was removing material from an impact crusher that had become plugged up. While standing outside the crushing chamber a rock from the feeder deck became dislodged bounced off a blow bar and struck the miners left knee.

Employee Was clearing topsoil with a dozer. A branch was entangled behind the blade. When the employee tried to remove the branch, it slipped, pinning the employee's right ring finger between the branch and the equipment. When employee removed his glove, the tip of his finger had been removed. Employee kept fingertip and glove with him and was immediately driven to the hospital.
