While pulling on a chain binder with a cheater pipe, the pipe slipped off and the arm of the binder struck the employee's left wrist.

While loading 3/4" cable into a work boat, the miner lifted several bound wraps of cable over the handrail and let go. When the loose end of the cable went over the rail, it whipped up and struck the miner in the right elbow. This resulted in a contusion on the elbow and tingling in the right hand. The miner returned to work, but with medical restrictions on right arm.

While washing down the plant, the operator had water spray come under the side of safety glasses. Operator wiped sandy water from eye, but a grain of sand got into left eye, causing an abrasion. Employee was taken to clinic where sand grain was removed. Antibiotic drops were prescribed and operator was released back to work with no restrictions.

While walking at sand plant, employee slipped on algae that had grown on concrete floor and fell. The fall resulted in a sore wrist, later diagnosed as a sprained right wrist and sprained hand.
