TRYING TO UNHOOK ONE ROPE AND PUT ON SHORTER ROPE. PULLED SELF UP ON STEEL TO GET OFF LADDER ROPE AND IT HAD SLACK IN IT. IT SLIPPED HOLE THREAD THROUGH, CAUSING HIM TO HOLD ONTO CABLE TO KEE P FROM FALLING SLACK RAN OUT OF ROPE AND SNAPPED HIM OFF LOOP ROPE AND HE FELL 12 FT.
