Walked out of scale house to go to personal vehicle to leave for lunch. He walked down a small hill of scales and slipped on snow and ice and fell 3' on small incline. Left ankle bent backwards under him and he sprained his ankle.

HE WAS WELDING A PIECE OF PLATE STEEL DOWN TO SONSTRUCT A HOPPER UNDER SCREEN AND HAD TO WELD A PIECE OF STEEL TO IT TO PULL IT DOWN TIGHT WITH A COME-ALONG AND THE PIECE OF STEEL BROKE OFF AND STRUCK HIM IN THE FACE WHICH CAUSED A CUT ON FOREHEAD, NOSE & CHIN. THE CUT ON HIS CHIN NEEDED APPROX TWO STITCHES.
