First Rate Excavate · Struck by... (Not Elsewhere Classified)

Employee was performing maintenance on site, using a battery powered hammer drill. The employee lost grip on the drill, resulting in the base/handle of the tool striking the employee in the face (lip and nose). Employee was taken to a local clinic where sutures were used to close the injury on the employee's lip.
