Jeffres Sand & Gravel Inc · Fall from machine

MALE EMPLOYEE WAS CLIMBING OFF OF ROTARY SCREE THAT WAS SETTING ON THE GROUND. WHILE CLIMBING DOWN THE WELD BROKE THAT WAS HOLDING THE HAND RIAL HE WAS USING. KNOWING HE WAS GOING TO FALL HE KICKED/PUSHED HIMSELF BACKWARDS TO AVOID LANDING ON ANY EXTENSIONS OF TH EROTARY. HE FELL ON HIS BACK AND SHOULDER, RESULTING IN DEEP MUSCLE BRUISES. HE WAS TAKEN TO HOPSITAL BY AMBULANCE.
