DRIVER WAS ASSISTING IN REMOVAL OF REFUSE FROZEN TO BACK OF DUMP TRAILER BED. SAFETY ARM, USED FOR IMMOBILIZING TAILGATE, WAS ACCIDENTALLY KNOCKED LOOSE BY COWORKER. THIS ALLOWED TAILGATE TO S HUT AND BUMPED DRIVERS HEAD AS HE WAS WATCHING THE WORK. DRIVER WAS TAKEN TO EMERG HOSPITAL FOR EXAMINATION AND RELEASED BY DR APPROX 2 HOURS LATER.
