HE WAS USING THE BACKHOE TO GET A ROLL OF MINE BELT. HE GOT OFF THE BACKHOE TO HOOK UP THE BELT AND THE MACHINE DRIFTED AND CAUGHT HIS FOOT BETWEEN THE BELT AND THE HOE BUCKET. THE MACHINE WAS CHECKED AND THE PARK BRAKE WORKED PROPERLY. IT APPEARS HE DID NOT ENGAGE THE BRAKE.
