Neiswonger Construction Inc. · Contact with hot objects or substances

Hydraulic hose burst as bed was being raised on Terex TR70 Rock Truck. Hydraulic oil immediately burst into flames and engulfed the truck in flames. Driver had to jump from vehicle and received minor burns to arm and neck when exiting truck.

Employee was assisting to remove a piece of rock wedged between 2 wheels on truck. Removal of the rock cause the tire to explode causing small cuts to the face

Employee was trying to remove a piece of rock wedged between two wheels on truck. Removal of the rock caused the tire to explode causing facial lacerations.

The truck operator was checking why a hydraulic cooling fan wasn't running. As ee checked the winning behind the fan and plugging in the wires the fan started up. A foreign object broke through the protecting cover over the fan and cut left pointer finger tip of operator, cut was repaired by 6 stitches.

Laborer was assisting mechanic putting track back on Hyundai 480 Excavator. The chain attached to the track broke and caused the track to fall on laborers foot.

Contractor was hammering a piece of metal plate with sledge hammer on the back of his truck. Sledge hammer missed target and left wrist hit edge of plate and wrist was cut, requiring 9 stitches.

Laborer was working around the side of of the KPI crusher and a piece of limestone fell from the top of the Crusher striking the Laborer on the head and right hand. Laborer was wearing hard hat.
