Employee was helping to flip the blow Bars at the Hazemag crusher area; pounding out wedges. A piece of metal flew out of the area where they were hammering, hit employee in the left arm, and became embedded in the arm.

STEEL CABLES WERE BEING TIED THRU CONCRETE BARRIERS TO FORM A FOUNDATION FOR A RAMP. EE WAS PUSHING AND PULLING THE CABLES THROUGH THE BARRAIERS WHEN A CABLE GOT STUCK. EE PULLED HARD ON THE C ABLE. IT BROKE AND FLEW BACK INTO HIS FACE CAUSING DAMAGE TO HIS RIGHT EYE.

THE INJURED SAID HE GOT AN HERNIA FROM MOVING A BIG ROCK BY HAND.THE ROCK WAS IN FRONT OF THE SHOVEL TRACK AND WE SLID THE ROCK OUT OF THE WAY.IT WAS TWO TO THREE WEEKS TILL HE FOUND OUT HE HA D A HERNIA.
