THE WATER CANNON CARRIAGE WAS LOWERED TO REST ON THE BOTTOM OF THE POND SO THE HOISTING CABLE COULD BE REMOVED FROM THE WINCH. HE WAS COILING THE EXTRA LINE OFF THE WINCH (30') INTO HIS LEFT H AND. THE CARRIAGE SUDDENLY BROKE LOOSE FROM RESTING PLACE UNDERWATER AND JERKED THE COILED CABLE OUT OF HIS HAND WRAPPING AROUND ARM 1 1/2 TIMES, CABLE TIGHTENED, FLIPPED HIS ARM LOOSE.
