Using a hand grinder and it kicked back and struck him on his arm, 3" above his elbow. Laceration is 3" long. Did not cut into muscle.

Employee was removing a tooth from a 988 loader bucket using an 8lb hammer knocking tooth from side to side when a sliver of metal broke away from tooth striking employee on his left leg front thigh area. Foreign body was removed from employee.
