EE WAS MOVING THE ANCHOR CABLE FOR THE GRAVEL DREDGE, AS HE REMOVED THE CLEVIS HOLDING THE CABLE IN PLACE AROUND POST. THE CLEVIS SLIPPED OUT OF HIS HAND CAUSING THE CABLE TO UNWIND FROM POST AND THE CABLE WITH THE CLEVIS ATTACHED STRUCK THE EE ON THE LEFT ANKLE. EE WENT TO THE MEDICAL CENTER AND HAD ANKLE X RAYED. NO BROKEN BONES, JUST A BAD BRUISE.

EMPLOYEE'S WERE ON WORK BARGE CHANGING DREDGE PIPE WHEN WORK BARGE UPSET AND PINNED EMPLOYEE TEMPORARILY BETWEEN BARGE AND DREDGE PIPE. EMPLOYEE HAD A FEW BRUISES ON LEFT LEG AND LEFT SIDE OF BACK AND LOWER SIDE OF RIGHT SIDE OF STOMACH. EMPLOYEE WAS TAKEN BY ANYOTHER EMPLOYEE TO ST. FRANCIS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL WEST POINT, NE. FOR X-RAYS AND EXAMINATION.
