Overman's Western Stone · Accident type, without injuries

The contractor was operating a D8 dozer pushing material from a high angle area on the pit high wall. The upper wall on the dozers left side slid due to the relief support from its toes causing the dozer to become completey covered with earth, with the operator barley escaping.
