CHAIN WAS CAUGHT IN TAILGATE LATCH. VICTIM GRABBED BOTTOM OF TAILGATE AND PULLED OUTWARD WHILE ANOTHER EMPLOYEE YANKED ON THE CHAIN. VICTIM DIDNOT GET ONE FINGER OUT OF THE WAY. GATE MASHED THE LAST ONE THIRD OF THE LAST JOINT OF THE MIDDLE FINGER. LOST THE TIP OF THE FINGER. REQUIRED STITCHES.
