THERE WAS A HOLE IN THE HOSE AT THE SLURRY PUMP THAT NEEDED REPAIR. THE DAMAGED SECTION WAS CUT OFF. THERE WERE THREE PROTRUDING WIRES STICKING OUT FROM THE END ABOUT 1/4". THE RUBBER PIPE IS REINFORCED WITH THE WIRE. THE HOSE BEGAN TO SLIP FROM THE EMBANKMENT, THE MINER TRIED TO GRAB IT WHICH RESULTED IN A PUNCTURE IN HIS PALM BY THE WIRE.
