Employee was loosening a tension spring on the jaw crusher. He started taking the nut off with his hand when the tension slipped which smashed his right ring finger between the spring and nut. He jerked and pinched the tip of the finger off.

Hit feeder chain with hammer, the chain broke and flipped over and hit finger pinning it between chain and metal. Smashed finger-was not broken-just boadly bruised.
