Aggregates West Inc · Struck by falling object

Two employees were placing a backstop for a ramp to a feeder hopper. The backstop, 5' x 15' x 1/2" steel plate, was lifed vertical to lean against feeder, the groundman pushed up on the steel plate by hand to over center when he did that the chain came unhooked from the plate which caused the steel plate to fall toward him pinning his leg against the ground.
