El dia 9/18/12 el minero reporta sentir dolor en la espalda alegando que se habia lastimado el dia 9/11/12 mientras conducia un camion articulado. Ese dia 9/18/12 no trabajo porque se fue para el Fondo del Seguro del Estado, y como no se ha comunicado con nosotros desde entonces, desconocemos la magnitud de la alegada condicion.

Durante el ensamblaje de la parrilla del hopper de la planta procesadora #1 el minero lesionado sostenia con su mano izquierda una pieza de la parrilla para que esta atravesase por un agujero para poder fijarla en su lugar. La pieza se resbalo y se pillo el dedo indice causandole una cortadura que requirio un punto de sutura.

The miner was giving maintenance to a mobile equip. While holding with his two hands a wrench, he applied force in an upward direction. When his elbows were at his shoulder level he made an extra effort to loosen the part. As a consequence of the strength applied, he reports to have felt a sudden pain in his neck and back muscles.

The miners right knee was swollen and it hurt when he walked. His supervisor referred him to seek medical treatment at La Corporacion del Fondo del Seguro del Estado Industrial Hospital. The miner could not relate the condition with any particular incident nor with any particular moment. He says that the pain started in a mild way some days ago and it increased with time.

A miner that in 2009 was diagnosed with "STRAIN LUMBO SACRAL, HNP L4-5, L5-S1, RADICULOPATIA L5-S1 BILATERAL" did not report to duty on March 4, 2010. The miner was referred to El Fondo del Seguro del Estado to receive medical treatment. Allegedly the vibration of the 966C Front Loader caused by the dumping of the bucket caused the injury or aggravated his previous condition.

The miner was driving an articulated truck, and when he stopped and got down from the truck he felt a strong pain in his lower back, right leg and on the back of his neck. He was taken to El Fondo del Seguro del Estado to get treatment and is actually at rest. We still do not have a medical diagnose of his condition.

32 year old miner with 15 yrs of experience at the mine showed signs of emotional depression, alleged mental confusion and suicidal thoughts. Miner claims that his condition is due to the situation of solitude and isolation of his post during an extended period of time. Miner was referred to "EL Fondo de Seguro del Estado" for professional attention where he was ordered to rest.

THE ACCIDENT VICTIM TRIPPED, AND TO PREVENT THE BLOW OF THE FALL USED HIS HANDS TO CATCH HIMSELFTHUS CUTTING HIS WRIST ON A STEEL ROD THAT STUCKOUT FROM A PIECE OF CONCRETE. THE STEEL BAR WAS REMOVED TO PREVENT FURTHER ACCIDENTS.
