THE EE HIT A SLIGHT BUMP IN THE ROAD WHILE DRIVING TRUCK. HE THEN FELT A PAIN IN HIS BACK.

THE EE WAS REMOVING AN OXYGEN BOTTLE FROM THE RACK, WHICH HAD A 20" SNOW DRIFT IN FRONT OF IT.THE BOTTLE SHIFTED AS HE REMOVED IT, CAUSING HIMTO TWIST HIS KNEE. THE EE DID NOT SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION UNTIL 1-04-02. AT THAT TIME IT WAS DETERMINED THERE WAS TORN CARTILAGE. SURGERY IS TENTATIVELY SCHEDULED FOR 1-10-02.

EE HAD STOPPED IN THE WATER TRUCK, JTAD0630, ONA 10% HAULROAD. HE WAS LETTING A LOADED TRUCK PASS. ONCE THE TRUCK HAD PASSED, HE TRAVELED ABOUT 80 FEET BEFORE COMING TO A STOP. THE TRUCKS POSI TION ONCE STOPPED THE LEFT FRONT TIRE WAS ON TOPOF THE SAFETY BERM. AND THE OTHERS WERE ON THE HAULROAD. HE APPEARENTLY STEPPED OFF THE LEFT SIDE LADDER LANDING ON THE 2ND PAGE.
