EE HAD CHANGED 0UEL FILTERS AND WAS TRYING TO START GENERATOR. HE REMOVED THE VALVE COVER, STARTED THE ENGINE AND WAS REPLACING THE COVER WHILE THE ENGINE WAS RUNNING. HIS LEFT HAND WAS STRUC K BY THE FAN SE5ERING FOUR FINGERS. HE WAS TAKEN TO ST ANTHONGY MEDICAL CENTER ROCKFORD AND AT THE ADVICE OF DR. WEISKOPF WAS HELICOPTERED TO SPRINGFIELD MEMORIAL.
