D6 WAS BREAKING DOWN AN OLD SPOIL BAND WHEN HE BACKED UP HE GOT ON AN OLD LOG IN THE SPOIL WHICHWAS MUDDY AND AND WET DUE TO THE RAIN AND SNOW. THE DOZER TURNED OVER. THE OPERATOR WAS WEARING HIS SEAT BELT AND THE ONLY SERIOUS INJURY HE RECEIVED WAS A CUT TO THE RIGHT SIDE OF HIS HEAD ABOUT 1 INCH LONG. I TOOK HIM TO THE HOSPITAL AND HAD IT STITCHED UP AND BROUGHT HIM HOME.

I BELIEVE THAT EXCESSIVE SPEED WAS THE MAIN FACTOR TO THE ACCIDENT. MORE 15 MPH SIGNS ARE BEING PREPARED TO POST AT ALL MINE
