THE COAL STORAG9 SILO IS LOCATED ON SR 2, 2 MILES NORTH OF WHEELING W.VA. THIS IS A RIVER BARGE LOADOUT WHICH WAS LAST USED APRIL 10,1987 AND WAS THOUGH TO BE EMPTY SPONTANEOUS COMBUSTION STAR T A FIRE IN THE3SILO CAUSING A MINIMAL AMOUNT OF DAMAGE. IT WAS DETERMINED THERE WAS APPROX. 300 TON OF CLEAN COAL LEFT IN THE SILO.
