OPERATOR WAS STRIPPING OVERBURDEN FROM A SAND & GRAVEL DEPOSIT. HE DROVE HIS SCRAPER UP ONTO AN EXISTING (APPROX. 5' TALL) TOPSOIL STOCKPILE. HE DROVE HIS SCRAPER OFF OF THE EDGE AND TURNED IT ONTO ITS SIDE. HIS LEFT LEG WAS SEVERED BY THE ROPS, AS WAS HIS LEFT ARM. HE DIED OF INTERNAL INJURIES AT THE HOSPITAL.
