THE VICTIM WAS OPERATING THE MATERIAL HAULER WITH ANOTHER EE, AS A PASSENGER. AS THEY WERE TRAVELING DOWN AT A 5-8% GRADE, THE OPERATOR APPARENTLY TOOK THE MACHINE OUT OF GEAR TO TRAVEL MORE Q UICKLY. HE HAD TROUBLE GETTING THE MACHINE BACK IN GEAR. PASSENGER JUMPED SAFELY. TEH TRIP PROCEEDED 300 FT DOWN THE ROAD. THE OPERATOR EITHER JUMPED OR WAS THROWN AND RUN OVER BY THE EIMCO.
