MR. PIERCE WAS STANDING AT EDGE OF BENCH 30 FT. EAST OF W-5 WHEEL DIGGING HEAD. BANK OF HIGHWALL AT BENCH AREA GAVE WAY. HE FELL APPROXIMATELY 15 TO 20 FT. AND WAS COVERED UP BY DIRT APPROXI MATELY 3 FT. THICK.
