Sussex Sand & Gravel
Absorption of radiations, caustics, toxic and noxious substances

Injured miner was on a small personnel transport boat at the facility, and was refueling it with a portable gas can. Some gasoline was spilled during the process, and absorbed into the injured miner's pants material. This resulted in a minor chemical burn.

Customer Over-the-Road Truck Driver Injury (not a mining facility employee or contractor). The driver was dumping excess material from truck being purchased & hauled from Sussex facility. Used bare hand to brush excess material away, when finger was pinched between the ""dog latch"" & ""gate closer"" of the dump truck tailgate.
