Secondary plant chute was brought down to ground level for maintenance on sides. Two temporary legs where attached to lift up. Left leg came unattached causing the chute's right leg to slide off a metal part onto employee's foot. Bottom of temporary leg entered the portion of steel toe boot where steel and boot material meet.

Employee was cleaning a dust chute that was clogged. He was poking the buildup with a shovel from the top. When the material gave way, the employee's right wrist came down and hit a piece of angle iron on top of the box. Employee has been instructed to use proper tool in the proper manner for the job.

THE INJURED EE WAS ASSISTING A CO-WORKER IN TRYING TO LOOSEN A TIGHT BOLT ON A 4248 JAW CRUSHER. THEY WERE USING A LONG PUNCH & A HAMMER TO TRY TO DRIVE THE BOLT OUT. THE EE'S HAND SLIPPED JUST AS THE OTHER EE SWUNG THE HAMMER TO HIT THE PUNCH. THE HAMMER STRUCK THE EE'S RT.RING FINGER.
