Employee was working on some gravel equipment. he finished and was climbing down the ladder. He said he missed the bottom step of the ladder, and he rolled his left ankle over when he stepped on the ground. He thought he sprained it, but he broke the left fibula bone.

EE was doing maintenance on jaw crusher. He was standing on step ladder, with his feet about 2' off the ground, when the wrench slipped, causing him to lose his balance. An angle iron bracket that holds the control box (box was removed for access) went into his armpit, causing a cut. He never fell, but was able to remain standing until help arrived, about 30 seconds later.
