Operator installed outside roof bolt and began to swing head in. A piece of rock 18""L X 8"" W X 2"" thick fell and struck his right hand which he had placed near the drill pot. He sustained a simple fracture to his ring and little finger of his right hand. Medical treatment was to splint (tape them together). This is to report medical treatment only.
