Miner was picking up a piece of 4x4 from the ground. EE picked it up underneath with left hand, not centering the weight, and caused a bicep tendon rupture to the left arm.

The loader steering, shifting & direction is controlled by the left hand operating a joystick. The miner claims the repetitive motion of manipulating the joystick has affected his left thumb.

EE was cutting a belt with a utility knife. As EE was returning the knife for a second pass, the knife struck the edge of the belt, and his hand slid down the blade lacerating his middle finger. The laceration required sutures.

EE WENT TO GET THE PORTABLE GENERATOR SET (GET-SET) WHICH WAS STORED UNDER THE STAIRS TO LOAD ONTO TRUCK. AS HE BENT OVER TO REACH THE GEN-SET TO PULL OUT FROM UNDER THE STAIRS, HE TWISTED AT THE SAME TIME AND FELT A PINCH IN HIS BACK.
