Employee was attempting to free a rock lodged between a belt conveyor and a tail pulley. Using a chain come-a-long to move the tail pulley, the hook slipped off the wing of the tail pulley and struck the employee in the chin. This resulted in 10 stitches.

WHILE CUTTING THE BIT PRESSURE WAS RELIEVED AND A FRAGMENT FLEW OUT STRIKI NG EE IN THE MOUTH. EE WAS TAKEN TO KERNODLE CLINIC ACUTE CARE WHERE HE WAS EXAMINED AND RECEIVED 3 STITCHES AND RELEASED.
