Cumberland Gravel and Sand · Caught in, under or between a moving and a stationary object

EE was prying with a crowbar when the crowbar slipped causing the EE to smash their right middle and ring finger between the crowbar and an I beam. Employee was written out of work until they could follow up with an ortho specialist making this accident reportable.

Cumberland Gravel and Sand · Struck by falling object

EE was trying to diagnose an issue with the detach pins on a skid steer bucket. EE had the bucket raised 24" and when the pins released the bucket fell on EE's left foot fracturing the 3rd foot bone, making this accident reportable.

Cumberland Gravel and Sand · Struck by... (Not Elsewhere Classified)

The EE was picking up a water hose at the plant to use to wash down. When ee picked it up, the hose clamp on the hose had a sharp edge. EE pulled the hose clamp across right palm, and the clamp lacerated palm. EE went to the doctor and received two stitches.

Cumberland Gravel and Sand · Struck by flying object

The EE was helping the mechanic put a pin in the track of a track hoe. EE swung the sledge hammer and did not hit the pin flush, so a piece of the pin chipped off and hit the EE in the left leg. The EE was taken to the doctor and the piece of metal was removed. No stitches were required, but the doctor put the EE on prescription Medication.
