The deceased individual was not an employee of the miner operator & was a trespasser on the site. The individual was reportedly evading police in the early morning hours of 1/7/21. The individual reportedly made it past the location's fence & became a trespasser on property. The trespasser fell off of a highwall & down into the pit.

Martin Marietta Materials Inc · Struck against stationary object

Equipment technician was pulling on a wrench to loosen a hydraulic pump retaining nut. The wrench slipped off the retaining nut. His left arm slipped forward causing his left forearm to contact a sheet metal guard edge. The sharp corner of the guard caused a laceration to the left forearm.

While assisting loading a shot at Onslow Quarry, carrying 1 50# bag of ANFO on each shoulder, slipped on shot. Did not realize anything was wrong until next morning when back hurt so badly he could not get out of bed and had to call for an ambulance.

EMPLOYEE WAS MOVING HEAVY ELECTRIC CABLE FROM ONE GENERATOR FLAT BED TRAILER TO ANOTHER ONE. THE EMPLOYEE JUMPED OFF OF THE TRAILER TO GET WIRE CUTTERS AND HIS FEET SLIPPED CAUSING HIM TO FALL .
