Injured worker was lifting a metal 5 Gal. bucket of stone onto a pick up truck. The injured worker stated he felt uncomfortable pain in his abdomen while doing this. Later in the day,the Emp had increased unbearable pain.The EE was transported by ambulance to hospital where he was treated for hernia. The EE was released to modified duty work with a restriction of no heavy lifting.

Loader operator felt slight pain in his knee while going up the ladder at the asphalt plant.
Creek/Pond from private property breeched on 03/9/08 due to excesive rain. It then came thru the quarry over the high wall taking out the #10 screen pile leaving from 4ft to 50ft of water into the pit. Noone was working at the time and no quipment harm was done. All areas were secured on Monday morning 3/10/08 before the quarry was open. DEP was contacted on for this event.
